Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using COD Flex (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store on which you install it.

2. The service

COD Flex reads your store’s native Cash-on-Delivery orders, scores how likely each is to be refused, tags the risky ones, and keeps the COD total it displays in sync when you edit the order. It never creates orders and never touches checkout. It can also, on Shopify Plus, hide COD at checkout for known serial refusers, and it can generate local-courier AWB labels and track delivery. Because it reads orders and prints shipping labels, it operates at Protected Customer Data Level 1. See our Privacy Policy and Protected customer data page.

4. Your store & your actions

• You retain all rights to your store, products and orders.
• COD Flex acts on your instruction: it scores and tags your own COD orders and refreshes its displayed COD total only when the order changes. It never places orders.
• Refusal rules, hide-COD (Plus) and courier selection apply only as you configure them in Settings.
• You are responsible for your courier agreements and for complying with COD and consumer-protection rules in your market.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app: no attempts to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service; no unlawful, infringing or deceptive use; and no use in violation of Shopify's terms or applicable law.

6. Billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing according to the plan and interval you select, and appear on your Shopify bill. You can change or cancel your plan from within the app at any time; charges already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on Shopify (Admin API — reading orders, tagging them) and, where you configure them, on your own courier accounts (Sameday, DPD, FAN Courier, Cargus, Packeta). It uses no AI provider, no analytics vendor and no ad platform. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, COD Flex and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. On uninstall we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or as required by Shopify or law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
